PHORTSE TO MACHERMO | Gokyo Trek | Vlog 06 | S2:E6

In today’s episode, we set of from Phortse Tenga (3,840m) and climb up to Macherno (4,470). Along the way we discover further fascinating aspects of local Sherpa life and stop for an amazing lunch in Dole. In the afternoon a heavy fog sets upon the trails, but we managed to keep in good spirits on this steep climb. After all, how can we complain when we are surrounded by this much stunning Himalayan nature and friendly locals.
